WHO WE ARE

GRACE CITY CHURCH IS A GOSPEL-CENTERED CHURCH
THAT EXISTS TO MAKE AND MATURE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

VISION

Our vision is to be a centrally-located, inclusive church that intentionally pursues younger generations and takes the Gospel to the everyday street level where our neighbors live, work, gather, and create.

It’s the name of our church it has a service every Sunday and a pastor who gives spiritual nourishment to both our children and some of their guardians and caregivers after each service the parents are provided with a meal. Our service to the community is more of a holistic and contextual approach. It includes prayers, bible teachings, preaching, and holding twice a week a youth forum where we address the issues relating to the young people and the plan of God in their lives. We are centrally located, and inclusive with an intention of transforming the younger generation through the gospel and spreading it to the entire community.

At Grace City Church, we meet on Wednesday for midweek prayers, Saturday for School of ministry  and our main gathering happens on Sunday mornings at 10:AM. Everyone is welcome. The dress is casual, so wear something comfortable.

VALUES

Our core values are expressed by the acronym GRACE.

Gospel-Centeredness: We value the Good News of Jesus Christ and depend on it to give shape, power, and purpose to all that we are and do.

Rule of Scripture: We value the Bible, understood in its original sense and faithfully applied to contemporary culture, as our final authority in all areas of our faith and practice.

Authentic Community: We value the intentional sharing of our lives with one another in the formation of a distinctively Christian community of faith.

Continuing Transformation: We value the lifelong, life-changing process of growth through the power of God’s Spirit.

Engagement: We value the active, purposeful participation of every believer in worshiping, serving, and sharing Christ.

BELIEFS

God desires to be known, therefore we commit to faithfully study, teach, and obey the Bible, where He reveals Himself and His will directly.

God is Father, Son, and Spirit in One, therefore we embrace diversity, unity, and fellowship as essential components of our life together.

God is the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, therefore we gladly welcome His preeminence, providence, and provision in our lives.

God is the substitute Savior, therefore we celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ as the source of our salvation, the center of our worship, and the heart of our discipleship.

God is the indwelling Spirit, therefore we depend on His active presence to empower, guide, and transform our lives into the image of Christ.

God is unconditionally loving and undeservedly kind, therefore we strive to be a culture of patience, forgiveness, generosity, compassion, and enthusiastic welcome.

God is righteous and holy, therefore we set ourselves apart to Him, pursuing lives of radical nonconformity to the world, the flesh, and false religion.

God has accepted us by free grace, therefore we reject legalistic performance and condemnation in favor of a culture of repentance, faith, and grateful submission.

God is our Champion, therefore we eagerly invite our neighbors to hear and experience the benefits of His victory with us.
